Zoomo, a global leader in light electric vehicles for delivery, announced a new partnership with DoorDash, one of the world's leading local commerce platforms, to support Dashers in Toronto with more affordable transportation solutions.
This collaboration reflects a shared mission: to bridge access for Dashers to helpful resources, reduce financial and physical barriers to mobility, and empower Dashers to earn more flexibly.
“We’re proud to be working with DoorDash to expand access to affordable, safe e-bikes in Toronto,” said Dshamal Schotz, Director, North America at Zoomo. “This program makes it faster, safer, and more affordable for Dashers to complete deliveries.”
Through this partnership, eligible Dashers can now access high-performance Zoomo e-bikes through flexible rental options starting as low as $14/week. As Dashers complete more deliveries, the weekly price for rentals decreases. No matter how many deliveries are completed, the rentals include all the essentials: battery, charger, servicing, and theft protection.
“This partnership with Zoomo is about giving Dashers more options and flexibility when it comes to making deliveries and boosting their earnings,” says Brian Kaufmann, Head of Policy for DoorDash Canada. “By increasing their access to affordable and reliable transportation options, ‘Dash to Deals’ is empowering Dashers to earn more while keeping them safe on the road.”
Zoomo’s bikes are purpose-built for flexible app-based work: designed for durability and ready to move riders efficiently through busy city streets. By partnering with DoorDash, Zoomo is deepening its commitment to last-mile innovation and helping more riders thrive in the growing on-demand economy.
