Zoomo, the global leader in light electric vehicles for delivery, has announced a new partnership with DoorDash, a leading local commerce platform operating in over five countries, to support Dashers in Toronto with smarter, more affordable transportation solutions.
This collaboration reflects a shared mission: to empower local couriers with access to better tools, reduce financial and physical barriers to mobility, and help Dashers unlock greater earning potential.
“We’re proud to be working with DoorDash to expand access to affordable e-bikes in Toronto,” said Dshamal Schotz, Director, North America at Zoomo. “This program makes it easier for Dashers to do their job — faster, safer, and with more money in their pocket.”
Through this partnership, eligible Dashers can now access high-performance Zoomo e-bikes through flexible rental options starting as low as $14/week. The program rewards delivery activity and includes all the essentials: battery, charger, GPS tracking, servicing, and theft protection — with no deposit or long-term commitment required.
“DoorDash is proud to partner with Zoomo to help Dashers access more affordable transportation options and empower them to reach their goals,” added Hannah Fishman, Director of Dasher & Logistics Strategy at DoorDash.
Zoomo’s bikes are purpose-built for delivery work: optimized for long shifts, designed for durability, and ready to move riders efficiently through busy city streets. By partnering with DoorDash, Zoomo is deepening its commitment to last-mile innovation and helping more riders thrive in the growing gig economy.
