Your Deliveroo or Uber Eats account is ready and all you're missing is the bike. At Zoomo we've kept it simple: book a slot online, come into the Paris or Lyon store with three documents, and ride away the same day on an e-bike that's ready to deliver. Here's how it works, step by step.
The short version
Ride tonight
The bike leaves with you on the day of your appointment.
From 150 €/month
Or 70 €/month if you ride for Uber Eats.
3 documents
No SIRET number, no credit application.
30 minutes
From walking in to your first pedal stroke.
Pick the day and time that suit you on the website, or just walk into the store. When you arrive your bike is already waiting: inspected, charged and adjusted.
You can compare the plans on the subscriptions page before booking, or check the Lyon pricing if that's where you ride.
Photo ID
National identity card or passport, currently valid.
Proof of address
A bill or official letter less than 3 months old.
Bank card
In your own name, to set up the rental agreement.
That's it. You don't need a SIRET number to rent your bike. You'll only need one to sign up with the delivery platforms.
| What you're renting | What you need |
|---|---|
| Electric bike | The 3 documents above. Nothing else. |
| Electric scooter | The same 3 documents, plus an AM or B licence valid for at least 3 more months in France. Foreign and international licences accepted. |
In store, someone adjusts the bike to your height, hands over the included accessories (charger, U-lock, phone mount) and helps you install the MyZoomo app, which you use to manage your subscription and locate your bike.
Between walking through the door and your first pedal stroke, expect under 30 minutes if your documents are in order. Want to see the models first? They're all on the vehicles page.
The Pro plan starts at 150 €/month with a 3-month minimum term, Pro Plus is 160 €/month with a 1-month term, and both take a refundable 150 € deposit. Ride for Uber Eats and the Lite plan comes in at 70 €/month, with a 4-month term and a 200 € deposit. Deliveroo riders get 10 € off their first month instead.
Included in every plan
Preventive servicing: punctures, brake pads, electrical system checks.
Repaired or replaced within 24 h if anything goes wrong.
Third-party liability cover included in the plan.
Optional Theft Cover, which reduces the excess.
Once your minimum term is up, you can cancel whenever you want, with no notice period, and your deposit comes back. Weighing renting against buying? The full comparison is here. And if you ride for Deliveroo, check the partner offers: they change regularly.
You leave with it the same day. Usually under 30 minutes once you're in store, provided your documents are complete.
Yes, and it's refundable. 150 € on the Pro and Pro Plus plans, 200 € on the Uber Eats Lite plan. You get it back when you return the bike and its accessories.
No, not to rent a bike. That said, the Lite plan is reserved for Uber Eats riders and the Deliveroo discount requires an active Deliveroo account.
Not to rent from Zoomo. The delivery platforms will ask you for one, we won't.
