If your bike doesn’thave lights or reflectors, it is vital to put them on as they drasticallyincrease your level of safety.
If you're moving quicker on an e-bike it stands to reason it may takeyou a little longer to slow down. Be prepared to brake slightly earlier thanexpected especially when coming up to busy paths and roads. Anotherconsideration is hydraulic disc brakes which are available on select Zoomoe-bikes. These have superior stopping power compared to mechanical brakes. Werecommend you asking what kind of brakes are on your bike and upgrading tohydraulic disc brakes if required. We opted to use hydraulic disc brakes on ourZero e-bike as safety is key to us.
Be mindful when getting on and off your bike
